Lakeway dining is making some huge improvements, in fact I was discussing Lakeway the other day with a fellow agent. She made a comment that the only thing missing was a variety of restaurant choices. The comment surprised me as I had recently discovered loads of new eating spots that ranged from the traditional bbq to the more exotic Thai. So I asked her if she had been to all the great spots over off Lohman’s Crossing like Non La?
It made me realize that a lot of people don’t know how much Lakeway has grown and has diversified in what they have to offer. Used to it was hamburgers and bbq, but now you can find some great choices.
Some of my favorite spots are Non La, Asian cuisine. Non La has a great variety of fresh cuisine and I really enjoy their Phat Thai.
Ciola’s has recently given Hill Country Pasta house a run for its money, though for most of us Hill Country Pasta will always be a standard favorite. But if you’re looking for a robust Italian menu you’ll most likely love Ciola’s. The menu definitely extends past the traditional lasagna into dishes that you won’t find in your typical Italian restaurant.
Cafe Costro Nova is another great choice for those looking for a nice dining experience. They even have a cigar and martini lounge. The menu is a good variety of steak, chicken and seafood favorites all with an extensive wine selection for great pairings.
The list goes on, but it shows that Lakeway has extended past the fried fish and bbq phase of their life into some great dining choices. Recently I had some clients from out of the country decide that Lakeway is the town they’d like to relocate too. Now I showed them parts of west Austin as well, but for them the potential growth and the recent growth in Lakway was very attractive. And they loved all the dining spots we hit. So when it comes to people buying real estate, dining and shopping choices can really influence someone when there are other areas to choose from.
